Mango-Lime Frozen Margaritas

Your dreams have officially come true. Karla Zazueta of Mexican Food Memories and Susana Villasuso of Life, Limon, y Sal have partnered together to create the perfect cocktail!

Mango-Lime Frozen Margaritas



Prep Time: 5 minutes

Yields: 2 cocktails




Ingredients

  • 1 ripped sweet mango
  • 1 shot tequila 
  • 1 lime
  • 1/2 tablespoon agave syrup
  • 2 cups ice
  • 1 cup water

To Serve

Preparing the margaritas

  1. Place the salt on to a plate. 

  2. Rim the edge of the glasses with lime and salt. Set aside.

  3. Add half of the peeled mango pulp, the juice of one lime, tequila, agave syrup, ice and water into a blender. Blend until smooth.

  4. Serve your margaritas into two glasses.

  5. Garnish the top of each drink by adding 3 mango wedges through a toothpick. Salud!
