Here’s what customers are saying about our Oaxaca Restaurant Guide:

"Mexico In My Pocket's Restaurant Guide took all the guesswork out of planning my perfect culinary adventure in Oaxaca! Luisa's guide felt like a tailored, thoroughly researched, and beautifully designed insider's guide to the best places to eat and drink. It's evident that Luisa's expert knowledge and love of Oaxaca flows through each page of this guide. Without it, I would have spent countless hours planning my trip. It truly made the experience effortless and enjoyable. I highly recommend Luisa's guide to anyone looking to explore what makes Oaxaca such a special (and delicious) place!" - Jori Schwartz, 32, Brooklyn

"The food guide is an incredible overview of the Oaxaca food scene. The must try foods and glossary are especially helpful for foodie tourists like myself who want to try the best local stuff. It's also organized by meal with beautiful photos and short specific descriptions so you know Luisa has been to every spot!" - Dylan Enright, 33, Brooklyn

"Luisa's comprehensive Oaxaca Restaurant Guide is a true gem! In foodie heaven, it can be difficult to choose where and what to eat - but Luisa's in-depth knowledge of Oaxacan cuisine helps narrow it down to trusted (and incredible) choices. I can't wait to go back again to try the places I couldn't squeeze in the first time!" - Courtney Likkel, 34, Los Angeles

"With the diverse array of restaurants and menu highlights, this guide is your passport to experiencing the new whole of Oaxacan cuisine. Whether you're a seasoned foodie or a curious traveler, Luisa makes sure that all of your bases are covered, with recommendations for everything from morning coffee to a nightcap, as well as the stories behind the food and the people who make it. This is *the* guide to what to eat in Oaxaca." - Grace O'Keefe, 18, Brooklyn

"The Mexico In My Pocket Oaxaca Restaurant Guide takes the guesswork out of planning a trip to the city! In a place like this, trying the local cuisine is essential to experiencing the culture. Recommendations like "eat at Almu before visiting the alebrije workshop" make it so easy to visualize a day exploring the city. The best part: the guide combines Luisa's personal tips with a general overview of different foods, restaurant specialties." - Diana Colapietro, 29, Brooklyn

"Luisa's Oaxaca Restaurant Guide is all you need to plan your food experience in Oaxaca! There are so many incredible dining experiences and traditional Oaxacan cuisines that are easy to miss as a first timer in the area. Her guide has photos so you know what to order and what to expect and thorough descriptions of classic local cuisine and the best restaurants in town. It will bring your Oaxaca experience to another level!" - Erica Connolly, 32, Dallas

"Oh my goodness, this guide is the exact resource every foodie or traveler needs! It's like having Luisa in your pocket guiding and sharing all her knowledge on Oaxacan cuisine! She makes it so easy, breaking it down into categories of food/drinks and even provides a glossary explaining the different foods you will find as you dine in Oaxaca. This information is truly invaluable, especially when visiting somewhere for the first time or even for someone like my husband and I. We have visited Oaxaca, my husband spending many summers there as a child and even we found value in her food guide! She does a tremendous job explaining the ambiance, why she loves it, what she loves to dine on, what to expect with cost and even gives little tips as far as reservations, expectations of wait time, etc. It really is such a thorough guide, I was left with zero questions, they are all answered here! No surprise, her guide left me desperately wanting to book our next trip back home - just to eat!. Big shout out to Luisa for sharing her love of Oaxacan culture and it's people with the rest of the world." - Marissa Dumas, 41, San Antonio

"The Oaxaca Restaurant Guide is detailed, honest and well curated for those wanting to explore Oaxaca. Whether it’s your first time there or someone who has already been and still has lots to see. I really liked how it was broken down into sections so we could choose what we wanted for breakfast, lunch and dinner and a section for cocktails. I liked that each page has the right amount of information you would need for whatever restaurant you choose without feeling like it’s too much. I think the glossary was important for those that are not familiar with Oaxacan cuisines and the pictures were a great help as well! The last section is great for those that want to explore options outside of the city!" - Licenia Pantaleon, 32, Brooklyn

"I'm planning a trip to Oaxaca, and Mexico In My Pocket's restaurant guide helped me build my itinerary with confidence! If you're like me and want only the best tips and recommendations, look no further. How great to have a curated guide for food, drinks, and more, written by someone who knows, understands, and champions Mexican cuisine and culture." - Corey Vogel, 33, Brooklyn
"Luisa always puts so much thought, care and passion into everything she does, so naturally her Oaxaca Restaurant Guide reflects the same. The result is a beautifully curated culinary guide to Oaxaca full of rich details and anecdotes. Her enthusiasm for and expertise about Oaxaca are both palpable and contagious in reading this guide. In addition to the wealth of knowledge it contains, the artfully vibrant photos bring the food and experience to life in a way only be rivaled by experiencing it in person yourself. The restaurant guide is a definite must-have for the inside scoop if you're planning a trip to Oaxaca, or even just be virtually transported through its pages." - Michelle Zarowitz, 43, Brooklyn
