Visitors can step into Casa Estudio Luis Barragan and get a glimpse of his life, a life celebrated by architects and art connoisseurs worldwide. When visitors arrive, they will have the ability to explore the home itself as well as Barragn’s studio.

The museum is open Monday to Friday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, operating hours are from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

There are some important things to note before you visit. For starters, because of safety and security reasons, admissions is limited to patrons 12 and older.

Also, the museum only offers guided tours and these tours are kept to a rather small number. Because of this, limited spots and high demand can sometimes mean you could be waiting weeks or even months before you can snag a ticket. Plan accordingly and try to reserve your tickets well in advance.

Getting to Casa Estudio Luis Barragan can be a bit tricky, but the best method to get here is by public transportation or Uber as there is no parking on the public street outside the museum.

The home is located in Colonia Ampliación Daniel Garza in the Miguel Hidalgo borough of Mexico City. The easiest way to get here is via the Metro. Visitors can also use the city’s rapid transit system, Metrobús, or the city’s bike-sharing system, ECOBICI.
