Travel Coordinator and Concierge for Mexico In My Pocket 

We’re looking for a travel coordinator and concierge to create the ultimate experience for our travel clients! 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as a travel concierge using WhatsApp Business voice note and text. 
  • Answer travel client questions during business hours using WhatsApp Business.
  • Oversee and manage travel client calendar.
  • Edit and finalize travel itineraries for clients.
  • Schedule and coordinate restaurant and event reservations with our vendors.
  • Serve as a liaison between our vendors, which include drivers, chefs, tour guides, artisans, and more.
  • Send invoices and make sure our travel pricing spreadsheet is up to date and correct.
  • Deliver the Mexico In My Pocket experience by making sure travel clients feel well taken care of.
  • Update travel clients on the status of their itineraries via email and WhatsApp.
  • Communicate with our founder and CEO daily to help them prioritize itineraries. 
  • Be a quick thinker who listens to the client’s needs and can identify and overcome objections if raised.
  • Work to hit sales goals and targets.
  • Follow up with clients after their travel experience to gain valuable feedback and to collect reviews.
  • Build and cultivate customer relationships beyond the initial transaction; utilizing phone, email, and written follow-up contact when necessary.
  • Follow all business operational policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Spanish and English, written and oral communication
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of the Mexican cities we plan trips to as well as Mexican culture
  • Ability to join Zoom meetings throughout the week during EST timezone business hours
  • 3-5 years of travel coordinating and customer service experience.
  • Strong attention to detail with effective prioritization skills 
  • Proactive and effective communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused–always looking to see how we can improve based on customer feedback
  • General understanding of how to use Shopify 
  • Exceptional ability to prioritize and manage projects
  • Motivated self-starter with a deep understanding of clients’ needs
  • Must be flexible and able to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical capabilities; must be able to make informed decisions based on data
  • Proficiency in Canva, Zoom, Calendly
  • Proficiency in Google tools like Gmail, Sheets, Docs, and Calendar
  • Ability to be in touch via communication tools like WhatsApp

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

Hours: 30 hours per week

Location: Remote Role, Preferably located in Mexico
