Altar Workshop & Book Signing with Luisa Navarro at Mexico In My Pocket
Join us for an altar workshop with Luisa Navarro, owner of Mexico In My Pocket and the author of Mexico's Day of the Dead.
During this intimate evening, Luisa will share the history and meaning behind the elements of the Day of the Dead altar and how to create one at home.
Altar materials will not be provided, but tickets will include a $25 credit to shop if you would like to purchase handcrafted artisan made items for your altar.
At the end of this workshop, you will gain knowledge, inspiration, and a cultural understanding of what Día de Muertos means so that you can also build an altar that celebrates your loved ones at home.
Luisa will also be available to sign books!

Return process
If you would like to return or exchange clothing or shoes, A USPS return label will be automatically generated. *Please Note: The shipping cost of the return label will be deducted from your return total. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

We are excited to now offer flat-rate shipping. Please allow 2 to 6 business days for fulfillment and arrival. Orders for in-stock items (a.k.a. non pre-orders) will ship out same day if placed before 12p EST.
Our shop hours are Monday - Friday 11 a.m. -7 p.m.., which means orders placed after 11 a.m. EST will go out the following day. Orders placed Sunday will be fulfilled on Wednesday. For more details, see below.
Pick Up Orders: For local customers based in Brooklyn, pick-up is available at checkout at no additional charge. If you are charged shipping at checkout, send us an email and we will refund you the shipping cost. Pick-up is available during business hours Monday - Sunday 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Please allow 24 hours for orders to be processed. Additional Shipping Costs:
- Pre-Orders: If you pre-order an item with other items and you want them shipped earlier, you will be invoiced additional shipping costs. To make this special request, add a note to your order and we will invoice you the additional costs.
- Due to the weight of glassware, if you order more than 2 sets of glasses, you will be invoiced separately for additional shipping costs. For this product, please allow up to 2 weeks for shipment and fulfillment.
