Created by artisans in Santa María Atzompa, this clay skull candleholder brings the beauty of Mexican culture into any space.
About the Artisans: Santa María Atzompa is recognized around the world for creating beautiful products made of green clay, red clay and for their specific technique in molding clay flowers and leaves. Their designs have a distinct color and high quality, which is known as the "filigree" designs for clay. This specific design of clay is created by molding the figures by hand. Afterwards, the artisans add strips of clay to decorate the piece with clay flowers and leaves. To make these pieces, two types of clay are used, the traditional clay from Santa Maria Atzompa and a red clay called "Donají."

These Mexican church candles are a centuries-old tradition. Made by pouring hot layers of paraffin over cotton wicks and stamped with gold foil. These candles have been used and are still used to grace church altars and to illuminate homes for fiestas in Mexico.

- The warm color is achieved by melting amber (crystallized tree sap).

Created by Oaxacan artisans in San Marcos Tlapazola, this marranito Mexican clay vase brings the beauty of Mexican culture into any space.
About the Artisans:
The women of San Marcos Tlapazola are well-known for creating beautiful designs made from red clay. Twice a year, the women from this community venture off to the hills to extract rocks for their creations. The process involves using a rock on the floor as a base and the delicacy of the artisan's hands to carefully mold each design. The final details are added using piece of maiz and jícara. Lastly, the products are taken to a wood oven where they are baked for 8 hours.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Pick Up Orders: For local customers based in Brooklyn, pick-up is available at checkout at no additional charge. If you are charged shipping at checkout, send us an email and we will refund you the shipping cost. Pick-up is available during business hours Monday - Sunday 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Please allow 24 hours for orders to be processed.
